Families are feeling the squeeze of today’s high cost of living as the prices of food, childcare, housing and education continue to rise despite official measures of inflation and other economic indicators showing improvement. There continues to be a disconnect between overall macroeconomic trends and how Americans are feeling personally about their financial situation and the outlook for the future.

Join Axios for a reception at the Democratic National Convention, where we’ll hear from leaders about their ideas to address the disconnect and steps needed to alleviate the pain that American families are feeling in their wallet.
